img2787As boats get bigger, and headstays longer, both easy adjustment and accurate backstay tension become increasingly important. The solution to this is hydraulics.

These integral hydraulic adjusters offer simple installation, easy operation and effective adjustment with an accurate pressure gauge that reads in pounds tension. Sailtec offers all of this and more, at a lower cost than any other manufacturer.

Sailtec adjusters are available in two standard stoke lengths. If you have a bendy rig, fractional rig, or want to be able to change the masts rake, you will need plenty of stroke. The standard integral adjuster comes with 9.5" of stroke, the competition offers 6" or 7" of stroke. Sailtec can give you up to 36" of stroke if needed.

The Sailtec locking option is available on both standard and long stroke cylinders. This mechanical device locks the cylinder in position, allowing you to release the hydraulic pressure.
